@devinprater Do you think there are some kinds of games that you would say wouldn't translate well for screen reader users?
I'm reminded of a documentary of Ben Underwood who was able to play Pokémon on his DS, surprising (if I remember correctly) a specialist. Though, it only showed a few seconds of him playing Pokémon and no other game.
So that's where my question comes from. I don't know if Pokémon games (or even other RPGs in general) happen to be the best kind of games for blind folk to be able to play, with or without screen readers, or if it's simply just preference.
@Hawlucha We've mainly only been able to play fighting games, as there's no way to get lost, and sound is, usually, good in them. But with The Last of US 2 being made accessible, who knows what all we can do. No one has really tried. I mean, I doubt stuff like Minecraft could be made accessible, not without a whole lot of expensive AI, but I think a lot of genres could be, especially RPG's. Ugh I wanna play Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI/VII so bad!
