Web accessibility, rant, need to vent, probably biased or something, don't take at face value
Ugh guys this is so disheartening I'm so about ready to give up on the web. So many popular things that people use in work life, trello being an excellent example, are just so horrible from an accessibility standpoint and I just don't see it getting any better. At this point it can't be that people don't know, it must be that people don't care. I just don't get it. The same frustrations day in day out.

Constantly happens that links are unlabeled. Buttons are unlabeled. The focus gets trapped in a certain edit box and you can't get out. Random letters just anywhere on the page. I just don't understand why it has to be like this. It's perfectly possible to make a UI that doesn't look bad but is still accessible! :(

So many times at work I had to speak up and be like hi, so, this tool that you want to use is great and all but its not accessible. I'm the only visually impaired person at the company. This has happened to our chat platform, to our ticket system, our wiki is next, I just don't know what to do anymore. Fucking stupid. God I'm so pissed off.

And there's just no stopping. How is it possible that established web developers don't know! It's not like most popular sites for docs, etc. don't talk about it! Fuck, it would even make sense from a testing standpoint! And I feel like it's only gonna get worse. Please, if you develop a web app, please just think about accessibility, you never know who might use your product

To close off, this is a rant. I'm not in a good mood, so don't be offended. But this is what I feel every single day. Would you want to use products that make you feel like this from the second you start to the second you quit at each turn? Sure you might work on a bad product, but then having to use bad products to manage it? Makes me not want to do this anymore. Feel like I'm losing my passion
