So hCaptcha's "accessibility" mode means "Give us your email!". What the hell? No! :(
"We'll send you a link to verify you're human". What? No seriously, what?
@talon what the fuck.
@kirby everyone else gets to "choose every picture with a bike in it". Seriously no. No no no!
@talon Their website lists:
Privacy Focused and Better User Experience. Hmmmm.
@kirby mmmmhmmm... no. Awful.
@talon They pay websites in fucking cryptocurrencies for using their captcha thingy. Oof.
@kirby yeah... that doesn't sound weird at all. And all CloudFlare sites use this captcha now afaik. I don't like this one bit.
@talon The hatred of captcha companies is on if those thing that unite us all. It used to be writing a few funny looking letters or listening to a voice saying the code. Now it either wastes your time, funding busses for 10 minutes straight, making them fade as slowly as possible, invades your privacy or both.
@talon Shitty business model. If I was them, I'd ask for credit card numbers. Bots never have those, after all!
But more seriously: What the fuck?
@talon shitty, bullshit, fuck them.
