Just a friendly and quick reminder. If you care about your posts on social media, and don't want to treat them as ephemeral, make a backup of them.
Anything you make and post, if you care for it, keep it yourself if you can.
It doesn't matter what social media it is, either. If somebody else is hosting it for you, it can't hurt to keep a copy yourself. Hell even if you're hosting it yourself, backups can never hurt.

@talon I’m reminded of an idea I first heard Alex Lindsay say over a decade ago on MacBreak Weekly: a piece of data doesn’t exist until it’s in two places, and it’s not really *real* until it’s in at least three.
