@Kaliah It could be a gradual rollout. As an example, the App Store only showed that I could update to 193.1 even though you have 194.

@BTyson Yeah. Maybe it is. I really wish I could go back though because I don't like or want it, like I've said 35 thousand times.

@BTyson as if that'll go anywhere. Still probably not going to make a difference because it probably looks good, and that's what matters to people. Forget accessibility, this looks better, so it must be better

@Kaliah @BTyson Okay but like actually what's your problem with the new interface? I'd very much like DMs to be their own tab. I haven't tried it yet, but that sounds nice as hell. No more wasting like 45 seconds trying to find the god damn DM button.

@Kaliah @BTyson No, you didn't, hence my utter and complete confusion. Sending 50 replies to different people just saying that you don't like it is a very ineffective strategy for letting people actually know *why* to avoid it.

@Kaliah @BTyson You didn't. At least not the ones that I'd actually consider bad. DMs are in a tab ,and the server list moved. Who cares?

@TheQuinbox @BTyson Maybe I care. Maybe other people won't like it like I didn't. That's the changes that annoyed me. I don't like any of it. The only one I didn't mention was the extra servers button.

@Kaliah @BTyson That's the only annoying one in my case. If you don't like updates that change UIs for no good reason that's totally understandable, all be it exceedingly ironic given your posts about Windows 11.

@TheQuinbox @BTyson Windows 11 didn't have anything that broke my productivity. Other than the quick settings thing, which I actually do really hate.

@BTyson @TheQuinbox Yes, but I still don't really like it. I prefer the old windows 10 thing. Especially if you click on stuff from windows B, like the network and stuff like that. I much, much prefer how windows 10 did that.

@Kaliah @BTyson Yeah that's horrible. Might want to edit your original post though, because I personally give 0 shits about redesigned UIs, and I know a lot of people feel the same way. That, though? A lot of people will care about that.

@TheQuinbox @BTyson Yeah. Changing an entire UI causes a lot of problems for me because 1, I don't do well with massive change like that, and 2, it is not explore by touch friendly at all. For example when exploring by touch the servers are unbelievably small and hard to find. Things are just unbelievably broken.

@TheQuinbox @BTyson I never had any problems with that. The servers were scrolled down the left side of the screen and I could touch on them, and the channels were in the right. Clicking on servers and stuff would change the channels in the right. That's simple and easy. This just makes it complicated.

@Kaliah @BTyson Yeah no, it never worked like that for me, the swipe order was always weird. I *never* explore by touch though, so maybe that's why? I had no idea servers were down the left side for example.

@TheQuinbox @BTyson Nope, they totally are. And I liked them by that. Also you think the swipe order was weird in the old layout, just wait until you see the new one. It's completely fucked up there too. I used the old interface by touch exploring, which is why I liked it.

@BTyson @Kaliah Oh yeah, once again welcome to iOS. Not sure if that's an iOS problem but it doesn't happen on Android and it's build with a cross-platform SDK so shrugs.

@BTyson @Kaliah Fun fact, another uniquely iOS problem is swiping left from the text field just throwing you somewhere random in the messages list. #EpicFail

@Kaliah @TheQuinbox It is for me, because I'll get thrown back to the home screen, and VoiceOver doesn't say "active" when I navigate to it in the switcher.

@TheQuinbox @BTyson So it does rely on an email, but not a specificly registered one. I wish I could get my discord email changed to be consistent. That's literally the only thing stuck on my old broken email.

They support both OneCore and SAPI (Discord does), you have to break all the other voices in your registry to get it to use the one you want if it's not what Discord preselects. Changing the preference in Settings>Time and Language>Speech, or Control Panel/Text-to-speech, has no effect on Discord.

@BTyson @Kaliah What are you talking about? Microsoft doesn't allow voice selection through WebTTS. Pretty simple.

@Kaliah @TheQuinbox But for example, with Cyclepath, playing in my browser, I changed the selection in Control Panel and it respected it.

@TheQuinbox @Kaliah It seems like more people don't have it as opposed to those who do.

@BTyson @Kaliah Yeah, I really don't think it has to do with your app version. Like I said gradual roleout.
