Hey brain. If someone's trying to talk to me, the following things are not important or worthy of causing a distraction:
Daydreams
random, abrupt thoughts out of nowhere
Nonsensical ideas
What's going to happen in the near future
Past memories
Things that I've previously found fun or amusing
Trivial stuff from the past I haven't been able to explain
Please just let me focus. You can go crazy when I'm alone but you gotta stop doing it when I'm in a critical, focus intensive situation. Erg
@Kaliah We totally get this. Our brain deviates conversation at times, not to get away from the topic, but because our brain just moves fast. We are constantly picking up threads that are somewhat related and yet not actually important to the conversation. And we feel like if we interrupt with these threads, that we are being rude somehow. Not the same thing, but similar. -- Altheda/Arden
@Kaliah Please tell my brain, too
