I have ~5 lowish power/small form factor servers and right now I've colonized a whole chunk of our tiny Boston apartment :) Going vertical could be a huge win :)</p>

Adam MacLeod<p>After wasting way too much time futzing around with WSL2, thinking I could just be lazy and use my laptop's built-in MicroSD reader, I found a USB reader, put the MicroSD card in it, plugged it into a real Linux box, did lsblk and blkid, located the appropriate device and partition, executed a mount on said device and partition, did a few ls and cat commands, and found out what is on this card in about one tenth the time I wasted on WSL2. And <a href="https://fedi.adamm.cc/tags/WSL2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WSL2</span></a> once again proves its uselessness. <a href="https://fedi.adamm.cc/tags/RealLinuxAllTheWay" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RealLinuxAllTheWay</span></a></p>
hyperreal<p>This is Emacs on WSL2. Does anyone know if there is a way to get rid of this ugly-ass window border? Or at least make it dark? It doesn't seem to use any X11, GTK, or QT styling. I followed this documentation to no avail. It would also be nice if this Emacs window used Windows 11 native windowing instead of whatever this is, if possible. <a href="https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/tutorials/gui-apps" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">learn.microsoft.com/en-us/wind</span><span class="invisible">ows/wsl/tutorials/gui-apps</span></a></p><p><a href="https://fedi.hyperreal.coffee/tags/Emacs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Emacs</span></a> <a href="https://fedi.hyperreal.coffee/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Windows</span></a> <a href="https://fedi.hyperreal.coffee/tags/Windows11" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Windows11</span></a> <a href="https://fedi.hyperreal.coffee/tags/wsl2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wsl2</span></a></p>

Teknikal_Domain<p>As of today, my laptop is now 2/3 complete, I've put the windows portion (<code>TAZOpticon</code>) on and... Holy <em>shit</em> that's a lot of programs to install. I might use WSL2 to try OP25 though.... But yeah. I doubt Borg will <em>like</em> exFAT as its repository FS (no journaling), but it's compatible.
