I'm not sure why Microsoft had to change the Seeing AI app into an app that uses tabs, now rather than a straight list I have to try and work out and remember which tab contains which option. Was it really that difficult to use?
@Woody I didn't find it difficult at all.
@Woody I agree that it wasn't broken so don't fix it. I need to remember that currency is under the Moore tab, for instance. Text things make sense. But, why change it. Do they really get a lot of complaints that it wasn't working? I wonder whose idea it was.
@Woody Yet every time I open the app I have to accept the terms and conditions. This has been happening for about a year
@Woody I'm finally beginning to get used to the new layout, but it was really annoying at first. When I would switch to the describe tab to identify currency, it would get stuck on the product channel. Color ID seems to be a little more accurate for me than in the previous version, though..
@Woody It would be nice if they would let you create a favorite tab and then you can put only the ones you use the most there. Do you think Seeing AI is better than be my AI?
@Woody I think someone over at Microsoft must have issued a memo telling all of their development teams to change their apps. OneDrive on Windows and on iOS have recently gone through some UI changes which have broken accessibility and/or made those apps a bit harder to use.
@Woody I wasn't thrilled about the tabs either.
