I gave the Day One Journal, both on IOS and the web, a spin, but I'll keep looking for a journaling application. I liked the prompts and templates, but journaling, like social networking, is just something I'm not going to stick with unless there are basically no hurdles. I found Day One to be just a bit too clunky when using it with a screen reader.
There was a journal extension I loved in Emacs, but it wasn't cross platform. The Notes and Voice Dream Writer apps in IOS is also really nice to use, but it also isn't cross platform. right now I'm trying out Microsoft One Note again. #DayOne
@cj Try the diarium app? it has some unlabeled elements, but it is really easy to use and is very cross platform. syncs through dropbox or cloud storage.
