As unfortunate as it is to say, Google has broken another feature on Android 14, affecting various keyboards. As a blind Android user, I rely on Jieshuo screenreader as my primary screenreader due to its speed and the overall features it offers. However, the latest keyboards have become entirely inaccessible for Jieshuo, particularly for those who disable exploration by touch while typing to increase speed.
There are two options available: either memorise the position of each character so well that you can tap the correct one without hearing what you've typed, or type with exploration by touch turned on, resulting in typing one character per second, which is exceedingly slow.
If anyone has found any fixes for this issue, I would greatly appreciate your assistance, as the problem lies with the Gboard app. I have tried removing it completely, but it is impossible, and I cannot install an older version that would work well with Jieshuo. New updates, new bugs.

@OlegTheSnowman it makes me really sad, that something as basic as typing on a keyboard wood brake when android is so far in development. it makes me so glad i use an iphone. sometimes apple does brake things, yes. but I've never not been able to do something as basic as type something on my screen keyboard.

@RaineyDay @OlegTheSnowman The question I have is which keyboard, because that also depends, are we talking gboard, samsung keyboard, swiftkey, this has nothing to do with android and everything to do with the keyboard in question.

@OlegTheSnowman @RaineyDay Yeah that's Microsoft for swiftkey. Not sure why gBoard would be impacted as that has not updated lately, did CSR update?

@OlegTheSnowman @RaineyDay Also just checked and both work same as always with , so the issue is CSR side.

@dhamlinmusic @RaineyDay It works fine when touch exploration is enabled, but when it's disabled, the keyboard becomes barely accessible, which wasn't the case before.

@OlegTheSnowman @RaineyDay Yeah nothing with android 14 that's been updated lately would have any impact on that, I would be almost certain it's a problem on CSR side.
