The state of Linux accessibility in 2025. This started out as a rant but became a series. @FreakyFwoof @a11yChief I think this is who I was talking with in GitHub issues. :)
@fireborn @a11yChief I... Just noticed that. I like to network and bring people together and github did it already haha
@FreakyFwoof @a11yChief you're following cosmic desktop github threads? Lol.U
@fireborn @a11yChief No but he sent it to me to look over, and I told him on WhatsApp that he should message you on mastodon but you're already looking at the thread anyway, so I'm behind the times haha
@FreakyFwoof @a11yChief always good to make the connection in other spaces that aren't as focused on 1 particular thing.
@fireborn @FreakyFwoof hey! Definitely, and thanks for picking it up. I’d completely forgotten the issue number and had too much going on to follow up.
@a11yChief @FreakyFwoof of course. In truth, I did because I didn't hear anything from the Cosmic team. After my post, a lot of teams reached out wanting to know what they could do better/what already worked and I wanted to see what Cosmic/system 76 were doing.
@fireborn @FreakyFwoof yeah I have arch and cosmic is the 3rd de I’ve got on the system, after every update I go check it. At least they know what mad effort is involved, they aren’t just bundling orca and calling it a day. Would love to know where the push came from.
