"The world is ending, it's all over, time to drink myself to unconsciousness, I have to emigrate right now, this country is never going to be the same again."

I have no idea why thinks are this way. We do have terrible people and parties here, I would argue some of whom are just as bad if not worse. No, we don't react in quite the same way. The political discourse seems very, very different; ours is much less polarized and much friendlier to opinions more nuanced than "we are amazing, you are human filth who don't deserve to live on this Earth."
It's not just one side either, I'm sure that if Kamala won, we'd be hearing about woke SJW snowflakes causing all the evil in the world.
