Python virtual environment is certainly a convenient thing, but gee, things get really out of hand after a while. So much wasted disk space because of the duplicated packages, not to mention the need to keep track of all those environments. Is there a clean solution to this problem other than Conda?
@vick21 Use uv, the new (fully open source) package manager from Astral.
It's much faster, does proper package locking, and keeps all packages in a centralized cache, with symlinks in each venv.
@miki Funny you mentioned this. I was just looking at the langflow project yesterday and UV was mentioned there in the installation instructions. Looking at it right now.
